No man can serve two masters

I can only speak for myself, but if (Opposition Leader, Botany MP) Mr (Christopher) Luxon is unwilling to operate with an absolute commitment to truth, which he puts above himself, his party, corporate interests, international treaty, and even the people, then he should quit now.

We cannot survive another Prime Minister who tolerates dishonesty in themselves, their colleagues or the people.

We can’t afford another slick P.R.ime Minister who views that office as a prerequisite for a grander future UN or corporate posting; another egotistical hireling whose sentimental fib to ‘make a difference’ puts outside agendas above their own country.

It is our government and media, supported by social-media censorship and private foundations spouting nonsense, that are crushing our nation’s spirit, not Covid.

Mr Luxon should know better than most that, ‘no man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other…’.

And if he will not defend us and the public honour of the faith he professes, by giving his countrymen the unvarnished truth about the current political, judicial, financial and moral insurrection, then he is deceiving himself about who he thinks he is and what he thinks he can do for the rest of us.
