The senseless and wanton vandalism of all political candidate’s signage is a perennial problem.
I have lived with it for more than 30 years. These signs cost a lot of money and a huge amount of needlessly wasted time must be spent fixing them or replacing them.
In my case, the main perpetrator thinks it’s clever to go around cutting out my face. If it was only my ugly mug causing a front I’d gladly get my billboards printed minus the photo.
But I see Paul Young has had his signs meted out the same attention and I know that Pakuranga MP Simeon also has it done to his during general election time. Seems to be a males-only thing as well.
So, I can only but conclude its some nasty little thug who have nothing better to do in their life.
