Three youths were caught by police after allegedly being involved in the recent burglary of an east Auckland business.

A police spokesperson says the incident unfolded in the early hours of December 1.

At about 3.47am police responded to reports of a burglary in Flat Bush.

Three people had broken into a commercial address in Thomas Road.

“It’s understood they took a large number of items from the location before leaving the scene in a waiting vehicle.

“With the assistance of our police Eagle helicopter, units located those involved in Mangere a short time later.
