Police have charged a man with murder following the death of 22-year-old Chozyn Koroheke.
Ms Koroheke, a mother of two, was fatally shot at close range at her home in Pakuranga on April 4.
The man handed himself into police late yesterday evening and will appear in the Manukau District Court tomorrow morning.
During the investigation into Chozyn’s death, police arrested a further five people, three on unrelated matters.
Three men aged 27, 30 and 30 have been charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and police aren’t ruling out the possibility of further charges.
A 47-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman have also both been charged with being an accessory after the fact of murder.
