Two men – aged 26 and 43 – and a 35-year-old female have been arrested following the aggravated robbery of Big Johns Dairy in Pakuranga around 3pm this afternoon.

Police were called by a member of the public who saw people run from the dairy and get into a waiting vehicle.

Detective Sergeant Nathan Reid said police observed the vehicle on Te Irirangi Drive and activated their red and blue lights in an attempt to stop the vehicle.

“The vehicle was pursued through East Tamaki and Otara where it eventually stopped on Israel Avenue,” he said.
