Pakuranga MP Simeon Brown and wife Rebecca welcomed Grace Georgette Brown into the world on Tuesday afternoon, February 2 at the Botany Birthing Unit.
The young dad, who is overjoyed and is taking some time off to support his wife and the newborn, said that
Rebecca and Grace are both doing well and were back home the following day.
“We are especially thankful for the support of our midwife Margie Ireland who did an amazing job. We are very grateful for the care of the team at the Botany Birthing Unit. They are wonderful people and so fortunate to have this service in our community,” Brown said.
Little Anna, who turns two in March, “loves being a big sister to Grace and can’t wait to give her lots of cuddles”.
