Supercars driver Andre Heimgartner, from Dannemora, picked up a well-earned third place podium at Winton SuperSprint in Victoria at the weekend.
Cam Waters won the race holding out another Kiwi Shane van Gisbergen, the current Repco Supercars Championship leader.
Heimgartner, who drives for Brad Jones Racing, also placed ninth and seventh at the weekend as he starts to build some momentum as the season progresses and moves into 12th in the championship standings, but is less than a race win from ninth.
