It was the first time that all 740 students of Mission Heights Primary participated in the inaugural Choral Festival that the school hosted on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Long hours of practice over two school terms by students and teachers was finally put to test in front of an audience of proud parents who cheered the kids.

Orchestrated by music specialist Yun-Pai Hsu did a marvellous job of training young musicians, flautists, pianists and choir singers.

Ms Hsu also trained the teachers on conducting different class groups.

Principal Veena Vohra was truly moved by the effort.

“I’ve been the founder principal of the school since 2007 even before the school formally opened and this is such an awesome moment to see each and every student shine on stage. I am getting goose bumps watching them,” she said.

Apart from the day performances students also performed on Wednesday and Thursday evening.
