It’s always pleasantly surprising to discover the immensely talented people we have in this community – but too many hide their light under a bushel.
But not anymore.
If you know an outstanding person who is either an artist or an arts administrator who lives or works in the greater Howick area, why not nominate for the Monterey/Uxbridge artist/Arts administrator Award, part of the Howick ShowCASE Awards.
This prestigious award is just one of several up for grabs at this year’s event.
Previous winners have included Gair McCrae of the Howick Children’s Youth Theatre and local artist and Uxbridge tutor Gae Webster.
So whether it’s the wardrobe mistress at the local theatre group, dance or drama teacher, talented performing or visual artists – why not put their name forward.
