I am tired of hearing professional broadcasters continually mis-pronouncing the word “aged”, when referring to senior citizens.
They refer to us as “the Aj’d”(one syllable), instead of “the A-jed” (two syllables). Maybe they think that we have been left to mature, like cheese or whisky.
