Panmure bridge incident: Workers fall into Tamaki River

Four construction workers have been taken to hospital with minor to moderate injuries after a scaffolding collapse at Panmure Bridge this morning.

Fire Service northern communication shift manager Scott Osmond said they received the call at 9:50am and arrived to find one person trapped under scaffolding.

Six people in total fell into the Tamaki River below and were rescued by fire crews.
