It was an all-east Auckland match-up in the 1st XV 1B final at the weekend as Howick College made the short trip to face rivals Botany Downs Secondary College (BDSC).
BDSC went into the match having only lost one game the entire season, ironically to Howick College back in May.
The hosts left little to imagination as to why they were top of the table, leading the whole match. After 70 minutes of top-class schoolboy rugby, BDSC reigned 1st XV 1B champions with a scoreline of 23-7.
