After moaning for 12 months about the Government’s decisions, MP Christopher Luxon has wished us all a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous 2022.
Prosperous 2022 – what a wonderful sound to hear! But to whom? He was against an increase in the hourly rate to low-income workers.
He complained about “Our wages aren’t keeping up” regarding the middle-income group. Business people need to pay their staff better, which of course will reduce their profit.
This Government has taken tough measures to balance the economy and safety. We can travel throughout the country again without too much fear.
Instead of sitting on the fence, Mr Luxon could have asked his unvaccinated voters to get vaccinated.
Finally, he promises a lolly scramble. We do not live in a children’s fairy land Mr Luxon.
