Today at Botany Town Centre [Tuesday, November 28] I had a bit of an episode with my toddler who I could just not settle down.
A woman came to me, offered to walk my stroller and things out for me as I wrangled my two-year-old out of there. She took us all the way to my car, then reached into her shopping and gave my girl a new Squishmallow [soft toy] and insisted we keep it and gave me a big hug – no judgment or telling me what’s what and I just appreciated it so, so much.
I have no idea how to repay you. The only thing I could think of is writing in the local paper and hope it reaches you.
