Saint Kentigern College wins NZ Co-ED title

Saint Kentigern College has won the National Co-Ed Schools 1st XV final in Palmerston North on Sunday.

St Kents beat St Andrew’s in the play-off and then  Fielding High School in the final 29-22 with Chad Boyed being named  MVP of the final

The private Pakuranga school is no stranger to the National Top 4 Tournament. They won the Co-Ed Division in 2010 and 2011 before winning the Boy’s Division in 2012. Sant Kentigern lost the Auckland 1A Final to King’s College but had elected to compete in the Co-Ed Competition prior to the end of the regular season. They defeated Rangitoto College 88-7 in the Blues Final. They entered the competition as the favourites.
