One person has died following a crash on Whitford Road, Shamrock Park, this evening.
Police said in addition to the decease, one person received critical injuries in the crash and another person has serious injuries.
The crash was reported to emergency services at 5.40pm.
Due to the crash, Whitford Road is closed between Point View Drive and Whitford Park Road until further notice.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area.

Police are attending a serious crash on Whitford Road, Shamrock Park.
The crash involved two cars and was reported at 5.40pm.
It is believed there are multiple people injured.
Due to the crash, Whitford Road is closed and diversions are in place at the Whitford Road / Somerville Road roundabout and also at the intersection of Whitford Road and Broomfields Road.
Motorists looking to travel between Howick and Whitford are advised to take an alternate route via Chapel Road, Ormiston Road and Whitford Park Road.
Police said anyone travelling in the area should expect delays and are asked to be patient.
“Further information in regard to the crash will be provided when it is available,” police said.
