Police have now made an arrest following an incident on Jeffs Road, Flat Bush.
Armed Police are present at the scene as a precaution.
A man has been taken into custody a short time ago, and the incident has been resolved.
Cordons on Jeffs Road are expected to be lifted and police thanked the public for their patience.
Shortly after 1pm, police were notified of a man acting in a disorderly manner on Jeffs Road.
The man has made threats to the public and had subsequently barricaded himself inside an address where he also made threats towards police.
Police attempted to negotiate with the man who refused to come out of the address.
