Police say they will be monitoring to ensure the safety of the community, to monitor traffic movement and to minimise any disruption to the public.

“We’ll also be investigating any unlawful behaviour, and where enforcement action cannot be taken at the time, expect our staff to follow up.

“If you have concerns for your safety, or witness any illegal behaviour from those involved, please call 111 immediately.”

Police say to report or send in any footage of the group engaging in illegal activity on Auckland’s roads, it can be made online at 105.police.govt.nz, by calling police on 105, or to make an anonymous report contact Crime Stoppers on free phone 0800 555 111.
