Police say a person has died after a crash in Clevedon on Thursday night.
Officers were called at about 6.45pm to the scene on Papakura-Clevedon Road, where a vehicle left the road and entered a creek.
“Sadly, one person died at the scene. The Serious Crash Unit has examined the scene, and enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.”
A second person is reported to have been removed from the crashed vehicle by first responders at the scene.
Firefighters from the Clevedon, Papakura, Manurewa and Howick fire stations responded to the incident.
