A person was taken to hospital in a critical condition following a serious cash in east Auckland this morning, December 1.
Police believe the man was struck by a vehicle while lying on a road in Pakuranga Heights.
The incident happened in Walworth Avenue at about 2.30am.
The injured man, 33, is understood to have undergone emergency surgery at Auckland City Hospital.
The police’s serious crash unit is investigating the incident.
