No injuries have been reported following a family harm incident that took place in east Auckland yesterday morning, May 1.
A police spokesperson says officers responded to an incident at a Flat Bush property.
“One of those involved in the event was initially seen carrying a machete on a nearby street after leaving the address. No injuries were reported.
“All those involved in the family harm event have been spoken to by police.
“The young person seen carrying the machete will be dealt with by Youth Aid.”
The incident was the topic of conversation on local community Facebook pages last night.
One resident said the person carrying the machete had been filmed on their property’s CCTV system in the area of Valderama Drive and asked if anyone else had seen them at the time.
