Bucklands Beach Yacht Club is celebrating two of its sailors, current Tanner Cup champion and skipper Blake Hinsley (Botany Downs Secondary College ) and Nicholas Drummond (Macleans College).

The pair finished second overall in the RS Feva World Youth Championships.
The regatta was won by another New Zealand crew, Simon Cooke and Oscar Masfen, who took the Open Title.

Hinsley and Drummond led the Youth Championship going into the final two races, but couldn’t quite hang on and had to settle for second place, a fantastic effort in a fleet of 200 competitors from 23 nations.
