Fisher & Paykel Healthcare (FPH) director Geraldine McBride has announced her intention to retire from the board with effect from the close of the company’s Annual Shareholders’ Meeting in August this year.
McBride has served as an independent director on the board at East Tamaki-based medical equipment maker FPH since August 2013.
Board chair Scott St John commends the contribution she has made in the years since.
“Geraldine has been a valuable presence in the boardroom throughout a period of significant growth for our company,” said St John.
“We have benefitted greatly from her experience, drawn from a successful career working with some of the world’s largest technology players.”
