Five-vehicle crash closes lanes on Auckland motorway

Auckland motorists are being advised to expect delays following a multi-vehicle crash on the Northwestern Motorway this morning, July 15.

The crash, involving five vehicles, was reported to police at about 6.36am.

“Two southbound lanes between Lincoln Road and Royal Road are closed while the scene is cleared,” police say.

“At this stage there are no reports of serious injury.

“Motorists are advised to avoid the area or take an alternative route.”
