Motorists are advised to expect delays in the Auckland suburb of Avondale this morning, July 14, due to a building fire in Great North Road.
Emergency services responded to reports of a fire at Saint Mary’s Catholic School at about 4.20am, police say.
Great North Road, between Portage Road and Larch Road, is cordoned off and emergency services are in attendance.
There are no reports of injury. Police will work with fire investigators to establish the circumstances of the fire.
