Some of New Zealand’s best young rugby Sevens players will be in action at a tournament being staged in east Auckland.
It’s on at Howick College from 9am to 1.30pm this Saturday, November 15.
The competition will showcase the best girls’ teams from across Auckland including Counties Manukau and North Harbour.
Howick College’s team, who are the current Auckland Champions, will use it as an important lead-in to the Condor Sevens National Tournament.
That event is being staged at Mount Maunganui in the Bay of Plenty next month and they’ll be seeking to defend their National title.
The Sevens tournament at Howick College this Saturday will feature a pop-up café selling delicious food and drinks.
Proceeds will go towards supporting the school’s girls’ team as they head to Mount Maunganui for the Nationals.
