Cockle Bay Petanque

Six teams each of six players competed in the third round of interclub competition at Cockle Bay last Sunday. Cockle Bay Petanque Club competed against Kennedy Park B, while Northcote Petanque Club B played against Kennedy Park C, and Hibiscus Petanque Red played Hibiscus Petanque Blue.

Each team played a total of 11 matches – six singles, three doubles and two triples. Cockle Bay won six of its matches, being three singles, two doubles and one triple.

Northcote won nine games against Kennedy Park C’s two, and Hibiscus Coast Red beat Hibiscus Coast Blue six games to five.

The Cockle Bay team members are Tony Irvine, Tom Deverson, Judith Lyon, Barry Hickman, Graham Mansergh and Rex Wood.
