Botany Library Welcome Day informs the public

East Auckland residents and organisations from across the city have come together for a public event intended to connect the community.

Representatives from a wide range of groups dedicated to helping locals took part in the recent Botany Library Welcome Day.

Among the groups on hand to dispense advice and information to members of the public about the services they offer were u3a Ormiston, Neighbourhood Support NZ, Citizens Advice Bureau Pakuranga-Eastern Manukau, Eastern Women’s Refuge, Hato Hone St John, Zonta East Auckland, the Eastern Times, East Auckland Tourism, Bellyfull, Age Concern Auckland, Counselling Services Centre, Indian Association Manukau NZ, Utilities Disputes, Zonta, and Asian Family Services, among others.

Many visitors to the event took the chance to learn more about Neighbourhood Support New Zealand.
