Miniature Marvels is a scale model gallery with over 440 expertly built and finished civilian and military aircraft, tanks, other military vehicles, artillery, spaceships, submarines, and other vessels. All are made to the same scale ratio of 1:72 where six feet in life equals one inch on the model. The display is digitally interactive with full online information regarding each subject, and a build-log with photos that can be downloaded to assist other scale modellers with their projects.

The charitable intent behind Minature Mavels stems from a mental health crisis in 1997 that led the gallery’s founder, Mark Davies, to revive his childhood hobby of scale modelling. This became a passion that enriched his life thereafter. But a 2013 Parkinson’s diagnosis meant his time remaining for scale modelling was drastically reduced.
Determined that his model collection and knowledge should benefit others, Mark established the Miniature Marvels gallery to raise funds for research of neurological conditions like Parkinson’s and Multiple Sclerosis (the latter afflicts his mother), and to promote scale modelling to all ages.
Admission is free, with donations to the Neurological Foundation encouraged.
