Having proudly represented our Local Board for nearly a decade, Katrina brings a wealth of experience advocating for residents and curbing council costs. As a previous Deputy Chairperson Katrina strived to stop wasteful spending and bureaucracy while continuing to advocate for projects such as AMETI and the Reeves Road Flyover.

A member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors; Amputee Federation NZ and Deputy Chairperson of the Manukau East Council of Social Services, Katrina represents a range of community organisations.

As a local mum, and child-cancer survivor, Katrina strongly advocates for improved health and disability services across our community. An education specialist holding several qualifications including Masters in Educational Leadership and Management, Katrina’s previous career includes experience as a Deputy Principal and 10 years as a Head of Department at Elim College. Katrina will ensure our community thrives, with quality facilities and strong economic management.
