The Pakuranga United Rugby Club Premiers went down by a narrow margin to the current competition leaders University 28-31.

An intercept against the run of play by Varsity proved the difference.

Meanwhile the Pakuranga Premier Development side remained undefeated – five from five – to lead the Premier Development competition. The side comfortably beat University 57-29.

The U21 Cannons won by default against Suburbs while the U21 Guns went down 20-36 to University.

The U85k Black Panthers beat the Eden Lizards 23-18 while the Women’s 10S Belles lost 5-48 against a strong Ponsonby side. The Presidents claimed a 30-5 win over Waitemata.
