Drivers required
DO YOU have time to assist elderly people to socialise with others? Selwyn Seniors in Flat Bush requires four drivers to pickup guests from the Pakuranga area and deliver to St Pauls Church Hall, Chapel Road, on Friday mornings. Phone Jill on 533-7947.
Phoenix Club
THE Phoenix Club is seeking more women members to help with fundraising to provide medical equipment for terminally ill cancer patients in hospices and hospitals. BOTANY, Howick and Pakuranga diabetes support group meets on February 22 from 7.30-9.30pm at the Salvation Army Room, 298 Ti Rakau Drive, Botany. The speaker is the general manager of Diabetes Auckland discussing the future of Diabetes NZ. Phone Geoff on 271-1034 for details.
