A homicide investigation has been launched following the death of a woman in Pakuranga last night.
The victim has been named as 22-year-old Chozyn Koroheke.
A large number of police were called to an address on Pakuranga Rd shortly after 5pm on Tuesday.
Detective Senior Sergeant Kevin Tiernan said police are still working to establish exactly what happened but believe it was a domestic-related incident.
It’s not yet clear how Ms Koroheke was injured and what, if any, weapon was used.
