Spring is well upon us and bright bunches of flowers are flourishing in every corner of gardens around the country.
Some of east Auckland’s best gardens are being opened to the public for one day only as part of the Uxbridge Garden Safari.
Lose yourself in lush glades, wander exotic groves or find contemplative corners in the eight gardens in your own time, or join one the Uxbridge half day bus tours and admire the beauty with company.
Lois Phillips is one of the talented ones with green fingers who have been chosen to feature in the Uxbridge Garden Safari.
The artist and ex-florist describer her garden as mixed, small and colourful with a range of flowers.
