A Flat Bush man will appear in court next month on a charge of murder.
Detective Inspector Gary Lendrum, Counties Manukau CIB, said Counties Manukau Police arrested a man on Tuesday evening following a homicide investigation into the death of 24-year-old Arishma Chand in Manurewa on Sunday morning.
A 41-year-old man from Flat Bush has been charged with murder. He was due to appear in the Manukau District Court yesterday. It is believed he will appear in the High Court at Auckland in December.
“As this is now before the court, Police is unable to comment further,” Det Lendrum said.
