The extraordinary 2016 Pop-up Globe debut season sold over 100,000 tickets and was extended twice due to popular demand.
Pop-up Globe is returning to Auckland this summer with a stunning new theatre design, four new productions of Shakespeare’s masterworks, and a beautiful new garden setting at Auckland’s Ellerslie Racecourse.
This full-scale, temporary working replica of Shakespeare’s second Globe Theatre presents:
- the uproarious comedy Much Ado About Nothing (23 Feb – 12 May)
- the bloody war story Henry V (3 Mar – 14 May)
- the psychological thriller Othello (2 Mar – 13 May)
- and the brilliant comedy As You Like It (24 Feb – 13 May)
