WAYS music can benefit children’s development will be discussed at free workshops for educators and parents.

Kindy Rock is a new programme that aims to enhance children’s development through fun activities.

The programme and music is produced by Judi Cranston, of Famous Fish Music, with two workshops being held in Botany.

One will offer new ideas for music in a childcare centre or school, concentrating on one to six-year-olds.

The other workshop will explain some ways music can benefit a child’s development.

The parents and caregivers’ workshop runs from 6.30-7.30pm, and the teachers’ workshop from 7.30-8.30pm, on September 22 at Eastview Baptist Church, 559 Chapel Road.  Entry is free but registration is required.
