GOLDEN honey and the industrious little insects that produce it were in the spotlight at a school’s presentation.
Children at Cockle Bay School were treated to an informative talk by local beekeeper Paul Brown, who spoke to them about the role bees have on Earth.
Two hives were installed near the school pool, so students could watch the bees while they worked.
The talk tied in with a unit a classroom has been doing on bees and sustainability.
