• Howick and Pakuranga TimesALIENS, cartoon characters and princesses strutted their stuff during a school’s fancy dress parade. Children at Howick Primary School dressed up as their favourite storybook character to cele-brate book week.Youngsters donned a variety of weird and wonderful outfits to show their love of books and reading.SpongeBob Squarepants, Spiderman and Snow White were among the characters in this year’s parade.Staff say last month’s line-up was one of the best the school has had, with plenty of outfits on display that showed a good deal of flair and imagination.
