Pub loos are hardly likely to be the biggest attraction in town unless you’re desperate or it happens to be a Celsius loo and a Celsius women’s loo at that.
Now, I guess you’re already wondering, “why’s that?” Well girls, the management at Celsius Gastrobar, Botany Junction, has worked out what we ladies want most.
No, not a 5-speed hand dryer or ‘reversing’ mirrors where we can see our dress, front AND back. Added toiletries would be nice but not when mess-pots spill them all over vanity tops and floors and while super-soft lavy paper is everyone’s dream that could be seen as a waste.
So what then? Why, black GHD hair straighteners in pretty pink booths of course. Just the thing when the hair frizzes, has too much bounce or look’s like you’ve been dragged through a bush backwards!
Yep, the gals are going ‘ga-ga’. It appears that these colourful highlights are every fashion plate’s desire and they have definitely made Celsius the colour, oops, flavour, of the month!
It’s showtime!
Harlequin Musical Theatre’s final show of the year, Yesterday, Today Tomorrow, is in full swing.
Wrapping up the company’s 50th jubilee year, it is a combination of humour, nostalgia, dance and foot-tapping show tunes that most theatre-goers will recognise and love.
Taken from Harlequin shows of the past five decades, this Christmas finale even uses some original costumes from past productions. A show for all ages it runs until this Saturday at the Harlequin Theatre.
Don’t miss this chance to hear favourite show songs and be prepared to laugh and cry. Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow comes warmly recommended. Book at iticket phone 361 1000.
Anyone for breakfast?
Since moving to new, ambient premises in Jellicoe Rd, Panmure, Frantalia (formerly Estragon) has been busier than ever. That’s because the restaurant, which specialises in French and Italian cuisine, it is now open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Tuesday to Sunday.
