Both events cost $60 per person and start at 6pm with a welcome drink, followed by a 30-minute cooking demonstration. Then comes a buffet dinner incorporating an entrée and several mains.
A delicious curry theme is set down for the first night, Tuesday, April 13. The demonstration dish is a seafood curry, and this will feature in the buffet meal together with red chicken curry, five-star pork and jasmine rice.
Entrées of spring rolls and curry puffs are included.
At the second event on Tuesday, April 20, Benjarong’s chef will show guests how to prepare stir-fried beef with oyster sauce.
The dinner will include entrées of Thai spring rolls and chicken satay followed by mains of seafood stir fry with chilli and garlic sauce, Pad Thai noodles, then beef with oyster sauce and jasmine rice.
Seats are limited and bookings essential with tickets available from Benjarong in Howick. And remember, guests will have a chance to win a cooking pack to take home. BYO wine will also be accepted at both events but corkage will apply.
