Butchering The Beatles: A Headbashing Tribute

printer-friendly page
In complete contrast to the new ‘LOVE’ soundtrack released this month we have here what seems like a heavy metal hall of fame paying tribute to the Beatles.

Alice Cooper tackles ‘Hey Bulldog’ with support from Steve Vai, Lemmy Kilmister (Motorhead) piles through ‘Back in the U.S.S.R’, Billy Idol does his best Jim Morrison impression for ‘Tomorrow never knows’ and in a moment of beautiful Irony Tim “Ripper” Owens (Judas Priest) does a magnificent job of ‘Hey Jude’

This is a very fun album and may even convert a few followers of hard rock and metal to the songs of the Beatles.
