MOTAT children’s day, 805 Great North Road, Western Springs, March 4. THE Museum of Transport and Technology (MOTAT) opens its doors to let children explore, play and learn about New Zealand’s history for free. Youngsters will be in their element with an array of activities, including the Tactile Dome, where they can explore their way through purpose-built tunnels, or take an inspiring ride on the Voyager 1 virtual reality simulator. Entry costs $14 for adults and children under 16 free.
