Estuary Artworks exhibition, Uxbridge Arts Centre, 35 Uxbridge Road, Howick, From February 17 to March 8, opens February 16 at 6.30pm. IN ITS sixth year, the Estuary Artworks competition and exhibition focuses on the importance of conserving the Tamaki Estuary. Visitors can vote for the artist they think deserves the people’s choice award, while the winner’s work will become part of the Auckland Council’s art collection. Genres range from jewellery and painting to sculpture and installation. Entry is free.
